The champagne house Laurent Perrier has launched its new blend, "Héritage," specifically targeting upscale gastronomy. This cuvée, made entirely from reserve wines, consists of 55% Chardonnay and 45% Pinot Noir from 40 plots, approximately 50% of which are Grand Cru sites. This marks the first champagne from Laurent Perrier made exclusively from reserve wines, thus creating a new category, according to the company.

To achieve increased complexity, "Héritage" aged on the lees for a minimum of four years. The champagne is expected to exhibit yellow fruit flavors with delicate notes of toast and roasted almonds. On the palate, it is lively and elegant, with a subtle dosage contributing to its balance.

According to the company, the cuvée is limited to 10,000 bottles in Germany, with a suggested retail price for the hospitality industry of €150 per bottle.
